Yvonne Strahovski in Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2 Artwork

One of my friends just “shared this with me on Facebook”: ‘Mass Effect 2′ role departure for ‘Chuck’ actress. The long and short is that Yvonne Strahovski is playing “the woman” (aka Miranda Lawson – you might recognize her as the well-endowed woman in white from the commercials if you’ve watched any TV at all lately) in Mass Effect 2. BioWare even did the creepy thing where they scan the person’s face and then make the character look just like them. Mass Effect 2

Since Mass Effect is one of the few (modern) games I’ve actually finished, I feel somewhat entitled to purchase and play Mass Effect 2. And, you know, I was just thinking that what Mass Effect needed was another badass character. That would be something that would really distinguish a character from the ones that were in the first game. Being a badass. Cause there were only like one, or two, or six of those characters in the first game.

Also, Mass Effect 1 was really hurting for a girl in a bra top. I’m sure that totally would have put it over the top for the Game of the Year.

Must Be Fall

Because there is all of a sudden a bunch of new music that I want coming out, and a slew (a slew!) of video games as well. Of course, this works well with the timing of my birthday, but it also means that I have to choose between things like:

The Killers – Day & Age
Snow Patrol – A Hundred Million Suns
The Streets – Everything Is Borrowed

All of which sound awesome from what I’ve heard of them so far.

and

Gears of War 2
Blitz: The League II
Fallout 3
The Last Remnant

and

Things I’ve been wanting since before I’d heard of most of what’s listed above, like a couple Bulls hats, a new Moleskine notebook, etc., etc.

Oh, the agony of such decisions.
